Ruminating over your thoughts....some emanating from the MIND and some from the HEART.....what do ppl mean when they say that, matters of the mind and matters of the heart..isn't it one and the same? that your mind holds the thoughts which your heart 'thinks'???!!! anyways, she never understood this difference and she still does not......those who 'think' with their hearts are s'posed to be emotional ......but would that be possible without your mind to actually piece them together to the logical 'ideology' that you say comes from your heart? and those who 'think' with their minds are s'posed to be pragmatic, a lil unemotional sometimes.....dispassionate...but they are the ones who take the right decisions at the right time......but isn't your mind a mirror of your heart? and your heart a mirror of your mind?
This was what she thought about the mind and the heart......she used to go hearing over n over the voices that echoed in her heart and mind....but never found the willingness and the right words to express them....and every time she quieted her'self', those thoughts were buried deep down somewhere in the confines of her heart and mind...a new day...n countless moments.....n countless thoughts that just breezed by.....some unnoticed ......some locked in her heart and mind....some which she 'postponed' thinking over...some that bought a smile....some that were vented with a drop of tear...some that caused her to seethe.......some that questioned her......some that exasperated her...some that surprised her....some that put her to guilt....some that bought pride.....

We think at two levels - Rational and emotional. This difference comes only when it relates to people. Otherwise we always deal with our 'mind'.When we go in for concessions or takes exceptions
to what we feel to be reasonable, we go the emotional way. So I do not perceive that heart and mind are different things. Its just that you add extra criteria to the reasons and make the
response of your thought different.
Best illustrated - When you see an old lady asking for money, her poor state shifts your 'I should not waste my money' attitude to give her something. But when she goes and drinks a Coke,
the extra criterion fails and the mind - heart difference dwindles.. You can hear only one voice from inside now - 'Hey stupid, fooled again?'..

I believe that the difference is only said. Everything is dealt in the mind, whether its emotional/ rational. But we associate emotionality with the heart and rationality with the mind.
that's the question, why rationality with the mind and emotionality with the heart??!!!!
